AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1755 OF SAID
CITY TO INCREASE THE COMPENSATION FOR ME11,'BERS OF
THE CITY COUNCIL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1755 passed on January 7, 1975,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Council Members shall
receive monthly salaries as follows:
MAYOR . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 6 6 7 . 0 0 per month
COUNCIL MEMBERS . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20.00 for each
regularly scheduled City Council meeting attended
commencing January 1, 1976. Provided, further, that
said amount per meeting shall be increased to the sum
of $25.00 per regularly scheduled Council meeting
attended commencing January 1, 1977. City Council
Members shall continue to receive $20.00 per month
per Council meeting attended with not more than four
paid meetings per month from the effective date of
this Ordinance through December 31, 1975.
