Ordinance 1820ORDINANCE NO. 1820 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1808 OF SAID CITY TO REDUCE THE GENERAL FUND NO. 001 BY THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE CONTINGENCY FUND NO. 119 BY TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS. WHEREAS, that at the time of passage of Ordinance No. 1808 passed on December 23, 1975, which Ordinance adopted the final budget for the City of Edmonds for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1976, salaries for department heads and other exempt supervisory personnel had not been finalized but had only been estimated, and WHEREAS, since the passage of said Ordinance No. 1808 said salaries have been determined and established by Ordinance pursuant to the law, and WHEREAS, it would appear that there had been appropriated for the General Fund No. 001 the sum of $2,625. more than was in fact required for said salaries, which fact could not be foreseen at the time of passage of Ordinance No. 1808, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1808 passed on December 23, 1975, and the schedule attached to said Ordinance and incorporated by reference in said section 2 are hereby amended to reflect the following change. There shall be deducted from General Fund No. 001 the sum of $2,625. from the budget revenue and total revenue available to said fund and from total expenditures from said fund. There shall be added to the Contingency Fund No. 119 the sum of $2,625. for budgeted revenue, total revenues available to fund and to set fund and total expenditures from said fund. Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby instructed and authorized to make the necessary line adjustments and entries to reflect this reappropriation of funds. A copy of this amendatory Ordinance together with the amended summary schedule and budget shall be transmitted by the City Clerk to the Division of Municipal Corporations of the State Auditor and the Association of Washington Cities. h_33-iz��+ii z 746�%�� MAYOR, H.
