AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 12.10.060 (2) (e) TO INCREASE THE
FINAL PLAT AND PLAT CHECKING FEE FROM FIVE DOLLARS
TO EIGHT DOLLARS PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION
RESOLUTION NO. 511.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 511, called a public
hearing, and having during said hearing determined it to be in the
best interests of the public health, safety and welfare to amend
the Edmonds Zoning Ordinance as set forth below to cover the costs
of administration of final plat and plat checking costs, pursuant
to Planning Commission Resolution No. 511, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 12.10.060(2)(e) of the Edmonds City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"12.10.060(2)(e). Final Plat and Plat Checking Fee. The
City Engineer shall have a field and office check made of
the plat before final approval is granted. The amount of
the plat checking fee shall be $8.00 per lot, or 1/20th
of $.01 per square foot of lot area included in the sub-
division, whichever amount is greater. The minimum fee
for subdivision is $50.00, and includes one plat check.
If the plat is rechecked, the applicant shall pay for
each additional plat check in accordance with the fee set
forth hereinabove.
