Ordinance 1856ORDINANCE NO. 1856 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS" WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN SAID CITY FROM RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX (RD) TO MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL LOW DENSITY (RML) PURSUANT TO PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 501 AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT AND COVENANTS. WHEREAS pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No. 501 a public hearing was called by the City Council on April 27, 1976, to consider Planning Commission Resolution No. 501 and at the conclusion of said hearing the City Council having determined that the following designated zoning amendment would be in the best interests of the public health, safety and general welfare, would be the most appropriate use of said property in the orderly develop- ment of the City, provided that the owner complies with certain additional limitations imposed by contract tendered by the owner to the City and such action has no significant impact on the environment, now, therefore, - THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of the following described property from Residential Duplex (RD) to Multiple Residential Low Density (RML) all situate in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington: Lots One (1) through Six (6), inclusive, Block One (1), Park Addition to Edmonds, as recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, page 88, records of Snohomish County, Washington, EXCEPT the West 10 feet of Lot Six (6). Section 2. The City Planner and City Engineer are hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning Map of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance. Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute and the City Clerk to attest that document entitled "Agreement and Covenants" consisting of six typewritten pages and a site plan, relating to the above -described property which was executed by the owners of said property on April 27, 1976 and tendered to the City. The City Clerk is further directed to record said "Agreement and Covenants" with the Snohomish County Auditor as a covenant running with the land. The cost of recordation shall be paid by the owner. APPROVED: after referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Snohomish County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper, and that it was of general circulation in said Snohomish County That the annexed is a true copy of a Ordinance No. 1856 as it was published in regular issues (and not in supplement form) of said news- paper once each week for a period of one X0MXXkX week/ commencing on the 28 t h day of Ju ly 19Z, and ending on the day of 19 —, both dates inclusive, and that such newspaper was regularly distributed to its subscribers during all of said period. That the full amount of the fee charged for the foregoing publication is the sum of $ 8.80 , which amount has been paid in full, at the rate of $_2 aQOa hundred words for the first insertion and $ a hundred words for each subsequent insertion.
