AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 8.64.030 TO REMOVE CERTAIN PARKING
RESTRICTIONS ON 76TH AVENUE WEST FROM 208TH STREET
S.W. TO HIGHWAY 99.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
has determined that it is in the best interest of the public health,
safety and welfare to regulate the parking of vehicles and to permit
parking on portions of 76th Avenue between 208th Street S.W. and
Highway 99 within said City, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.64.030 of the Edmonds City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"8.64.030. Schedule III --Parking prohibited at all times
on certain streets. In accordance with Section 8.48.1307
and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person
shall at any time park a vehicle upon any of the following
described streets or parts of streets:
Hemlock Way on the south side from Fifth Avenue to
Sixth Avenue;
Hemlock Way on the north side from Sixth Avenue to
a distance two hundred feet west therefrom;
Both sides of Edmonds Way (State Route 104) from
Elm Street extended to the east city limits;
212th Street Southwest on both sides from five hundred
feet west of the curb line of 76th Avenue West, east to
U.S. Highway 99;
One side of the following streets, as posted under the
direction of the city engineer:
(a) Meadowdale Road, from 75th Avenue to 75th Place
West,

(b) 75th Avenue West, from Meadowdale Road to
162nd Avenue,
(c) 162nd Avenue West, from 75th Avenue West to
75th Place West.
West side of 6-1/2 Street between Pine and Walnut;
South side of Elm Way from 6th Avenue to a point
two hundred feet east of 5th Avenue;
State Highway #104, also known as 244th Street S.W.
from U.S. 99 to east city limits;
West side of Sunset Avenue from Main Street to
Dayton Street;
Both sides of Puget Drive from 9th Avenue N. to
llth Avenue N;
Both sides of. 100th Avenue West from 227th Place
West to 232nd Street S.W.;
Both sides of 196th Street S.W. from the east city
limits west to 81st Place West;
220th Street S.W., on both sides, from P.S.H. No. 1
(U.S. 99) to 77th Avenue West;
76th Avenue West on both sides from 208th Street S.W.
to.216th Street S.W.; and on both sides from one hundred
fifty feet north of 220th Street S.W. to one hundred fifty
feet south of 220th Street S.W.; and on both sides from
one hundred fifty feet north of 224th Street S.W. to 224th
Street S.W.°
Section 2. The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized and
instructed to have signs erected notifying the public of the
parking restrictions imposed by this ordinance.
