Ordinance 29950006.160.147 WSS/are 10/26/94 R: 11/9/94 ORDINANCE NO. 2995 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING EDMONDS CITY CODE SECTION 8.64.060 TO LIMIT PARKING ON THIRD AND FOURTH AVENUE SOUTH IN A DESCRIBED AREA; AND TO REMOVE RESTRICTIONS ON SECOND AVENUE, FROM JAMES TO DAYTON, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. WHEREAS, the Downtown Parking Advisory Committee has been requested by the Edmonds City Council to provide a six month report regarding the efficacy of the downtown parking plan, and WHEREAS, the Downtown Parking Advisory Committee has recommended amendments to the plan and the City Code, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the public interest to review certain adjustments to the limitations on parking, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: as follows: Section 1. Section 8.64.060 of the Edmonds City Code is hereby amended to read 8.64.060 Parking, Limited on Certain Streets 6. Both sides of Second Avenue from James Street to Caspers Street. 86840.2 -1- 20. Both sides of Third Avenue South, from Dayton Street to Walnut Street. 21. Both sides of Fourth Avenue South, from Dayton Street to Walnut Street. Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi- cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the title.
