ORDINANCE NO. 1911
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMEND-
ING SECTION 7.01.010 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE TO ADOPT
BY REFERENCE THE 1977 EDITION OF THE "STANDARD SPECI-
FICATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION" AS
MODIFIED BY CERTAIN ENGINEER'S DRAWING.
WHEREAS, the Washington State Chapter of the American
Public Works Association has prepared a 1977 edition to the
"Standard Specifications for Municipal Public Works Construc-
tion," and
WHEREAS, the City desires to adopt said compilation as
its standards for public works construction modified by cer-
tain engineer's drawings, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EDMONDS DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 7.01.010 of the Edmonds City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"7.01.010 Adoption of standard specifications for
municipal public works construction. Those certain printed
compilations, three copies of which have been and are now
on file in the office of the city clerk, for use and exam-
ination of the public, prepared by the Washington State
Chapter of the American Public Works Association, entitled,
"Standard Specifications for Municipal Public Works Con-
struction," fourth edition, published in 1977, as amended
and modified by the city engineer in those engineer's
drawings dated 12/20/67, Drawing Nos. 1 through 13 and
Drawing No. 14, dated 4/1/75, approved by the city engineer,
three copies of which have been and now are on file in the
office of the city clerk, for use and examination by the
public, are adopted by reference, and all public works
construction, including but not limited to streets,

sewers, water distribution systems and other such
facilities, including structural features, shall
conform to the compilations."
