AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, 4ASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY SECTION
12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE, BY REDUCING THE
PROPOSED RIGHT-OF-WAY WIDTH FROM 60 FEET TO 50 FEET
ON 76TH AVENUE WEST NORTH OF MEADOWDALE BEACH ROAD
FOR A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY 900 FEET AND OVER-
RULING PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 561.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
561, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
called a public hearing regarding a reduction of the proposed
right-of-way from 60 feet to 50 feet on 76th Avenue West
north of Meadowdale Beach Road for a distance of approximately
900 feet, and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future
neighborhood and traffic conditions, the City Council finds
the proposed amendment to be in the best interests of the
general health, safety and welfare of the public and further
finds in conformance with the Planning Department's recommen-
dation that there are no significant adverse environmental
impacts and further finds that Planning Commission Resolution
No. 561 should be overruled, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by Section
12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is hereby
further amended by reducing the proposed right-of-way from
60 feet to 50 feet on 76th Avenue West from Meadowdale Beach
Road north for a distance of approximately 900 feet, as

set forth in Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached hereto
and incorporated in full by this reference, and by amending
Sheet 2, Section 7 of Engineer's Drawing No. 1.559 to
conform with Exhibit A.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to amend Reid Middleton and Associates Drawing No.
1.559, Sheet 2, Section 7, of the Official Street Map of
the City of Edmonds to depict the revision of the projected
right-of-way on said Street Map as set forth in Section 1
hereinabove.
