AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 8.64.065 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE
BY EXTENDING THE PARKING LIMITATION ON PORTIONS OF
SUNSET AVENUE FROM MAIN STREET TO EDMONDS STREET
AND IMPOSING A FOUR-HOUR MAXIMUM.
WHEREAS, the City Traffic Engineer has determined and
the City Council of the City of Edmonds finds it to be in the
best interest of the public health, safety and general welfare
to extend the parking limitation on both sides of Sunset Avenue
from Main Street to Edmonds Street, and to impose a four-hour
maximum, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.64.065 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"8.64.065 Schedule VI -A - Parking time limited for
certain periods of time on certain streets. In
accordance with Section 8.48.155, and when signs are
erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop,
stand or park a vehicle for a period of time longer
than the number of hours set forth below, or between
the hours designated below:

1. Sunset Beach access way and

Four hours maximum at
any one time
2. The east side of Sunset Avenue Monday through Friday,
from Main Street to Edmonds four hour parking, eight
Street and the west side of Sunset a.m. to six p.m.

Street.
3. Both sides of Bell Street
from Sunset Avenue to Second
Avenue
Monday through Friday,
four hour parking, eight
a.m. to six p.m.

4. West side of Admiral Way from Two hour parking from six p.m.
Dayton Street to a point two on Friday to midnight on Sunday,

Section 2. The Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized and in-
structed to have signs erected notifying the public of the parking
restrictions imposed by this Ordinance.
