Ordinance 1941ORDINANCE NO. 1041 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1893, PASSED ON JANUARY 18, 1977, AND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1937, PASSED BY CITY COUNCIL ON AUGUST 16, 1977, BY INCREASING THE SALARIES OF CERTlAIN DEPARTMENT HEADS EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 1977. WHEREAS, the City Council, after a review and study of the performance of various department heads since the administrative reorganization has determined that certain department head employees should have an increase in grade and/or salary commensurate with their added responsibilites, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1893, passed on January 18, 1977, and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1937, passed on August 16, 1977, are hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4. Department Heads. Persons presently appointed as department heads shall receive the salary specified below. In the event a department head position becomes vacant for any reason, the following monthly salary ranges are hereby fixed for that exempt classification as defined and designated in the City of Edmonds' Salary Administration Manual.
