AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
VACATING A PORTION OF EXCESS RIGHT-OF-WAY WIDTH
ON 80TH AVENUE WEST BETWEEN 212TH SOUTHWEST AND
207TH PLACE SOUTHWEST.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
did by Resolution No. 383 of said City duly adopted on
the 25th day of October, 1977, declare its intent to
vacate certain property in the City of Edmonds dedicated
for street purposes, being a portion of 80th Avenue West
between 212th Southwest and 207th Place Southwest, more
particularly described below, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
did by Resolution No. 383 set the 22nd day of November,
1977, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. of said day, for the
hearing and determination on said vacation, and
WHEREAS, the Edmonds Planning Commission, by Planning
Commission Resolution No. 567, recommended vacating
said portion of 80th Avenue West between 212th Southwest
and 207th Place Southwest, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that said
portion of 80th Avenue West between 212th Southwest and
207th Place Southwest should be vacated, and the said
City Council does hereby determine to vacate the same,
as hereinafter set forth, and

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
in conformance with the recommendations of the Depart-
ment of Community Development, finds that there will be
no significant adverse environmental impacts by vacating
said property, now, therefore,
Section 1. That the following described portions of
a street in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington,
being a portion of 80th Avenue West between 212th Southwest
and 207th Place Southwest, legally described on Exhibit "A",
attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as if
set forth in full, be and the same are hereby vacated, pro-
vided, that the City of Edmonds does hereby retain an
easement and reserves the right to exercise and grant
easements in respect to said vacated land for the construc-
tion, installation, repair and maintenance of all public
utilities and services.
Section 2. There shall be no charge to the abutting
owners for the portion of the street being vacated.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to

file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Snohomish
County Auditor.

more particularly described as follows:
The westerly 10 feet of Lot 24, plat of Willowdale Gardens, Division No. 1
as recorded in records of Snohomish County, Washington; together with
the westerly 5 feet of the easterly 10 feet of the south 200 feet of
the north 400 feet of Lot 3, Block 1, plat of Alderwood Manor No. 9, as
recorded in records of Snohomish County, Washington; together with,
that portion of the SE 1/4 of Section 19, T 27 N, R 4 E, W.M., being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the N.E. corner of Lot 13, plat of Robert E. Thomas, 2nd
Addition, as recorded in records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence
southerly along the easterly line of said lot to the SE corner; thence
easterly along the south line of said lot projected easterly 3.01 feet;
thence north easterly to its intersection with the northerly line of
said lot projected easterly, said intersection being 10.00 feet easterly of
the N.E. corner of said lot; thence westerly along said easterly projection
10.00 feet to the N.E. corner of said lot and the point of beginning.
