AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
RELATING TO THE DISCLOSURE AND FILING OF CERTAIN
INFORMATION BY ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICIALS AND
PROHIBITING PARTICIPATION BY SAID PUBLIC OFFICIALS
WHICH i,,TAY INVOLVE CONFLICT OF INTEREST.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1.14.030(1)(E) is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"(E) To the extent that reporting is required
under the State of Washington public disclosure
law, codified in RCW Chapter 42.17, each public
official of the City shall report the sources of
income from commissions, gratuities, special
treatment or concessions from any individual,
group or corporation doing business either in the
City or with the City."
Section 2. Section 1.14.040(1) is hereby amended
to read as follows:
11(1) Any matter concerning individuals,
groups, corporations or associations or other
businesses or entities contributing over Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) to the public officials total
campaign expense, whether said contribution is in
money and/or material and/or services."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective five days
after passage and publication by posting as provided by law.
