AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, BY DESIGNATING THE ZONING CLASSI-
FICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS
GENERAL COMMERCIAL (CG), PURSUANT TO PLANNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 575.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution No.
575, called a public hearing, and at the conclusion of said
hearing having determined as follows:
1. That the proposed zoning change conforms with
the intent of the comprehensive plan;
2. That the proposed zoning is consistent with
the existing Snohomish County zoning;
3. That the proposed zoning is consistent with
the present uses of the property;
4. That the proposed zoning is consistent with
the existing land uses and zoning of surrounding and nearby
properties;
5. That the proposed zoning will not be detrimental
to the public health, safety, morals or welfare;
6. That there are no significant adverse environ-
mental impacts to the surrounding properties either within
or without the jurisdiction of the City of Edmonds which
will be directly affected by the proposed use of the property;
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, is hereby amended by designating the zoning
classification of the property described hereinafter, as General
Commercial (CG), all of which is situate in the City of Edmonds,
Snohomish County, Washington, and more particularly described
on Exhibit "A", which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The Director of Community Development is
hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the
Official Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, pursuant
to this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.

Beginning at a point on the present city limits of Edmonds, said point
being the northwest corner of the east 1/2 of the west 1/2 of the southeast
1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of section 29, T 27 N, ME;
thence westerly along the north line of said southeast 1/4 of the northwest
1/4 of the southwest 1/4 projected westerly to its intersection with the
city limits of Edmonds; thence north easterly along said city limits, being
parallel to and 15 feet easterly at right angles to the west margin of P.S.H.
No. 1 to its intersection with the westerly projection of the southerly right
of way of 220th street southwest; thence easterly along said right of way to
its intersection with the westerly right of way of Pacific Northwest Traction
Company, said intersection being the westerly city limits of Dbuntlake Terrace;
thence southerly along said right of way and city limits line to its intersection
with the city limits of Edmonds; said point being on the north line of the
southeast 1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of said section 29;
thence westerly along said city limits and the north line of the southeast
1/4 of the northi.,fest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 to the point of beginning.
