ORDINANCE NO. 2209
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, AMENDING SECTION 1.04.010 OF THE
EDMONDS CITY CODE TO ESTABLISH A SCHEDULE
OF REGULAR MEETINGS AND WORK MEETINGS AND
ESTABLISHING A STARTING TIME FOR MEETINGS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 1.04.010 of the Edmonds City
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
1.04.010 REGULAR PUBLIC MEETINGS TIME AND DAYS.
Regular meetings of the City Council shall be held on
each Tuesday of every month throughout the year in the
Edmonds Civic Center at 7:30 p.m.; provided, however,
on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month,
throughout the year, the City Council shall not hold
any public hearings for which notice is required to be
given by State law or ordinance of the City. On said
second and fourth Tuesdays, Council committees shall
meet commencing at 7:00 p.m. and the Council work
session shall commence at 8:00 p.m. Provided, further,
in the event State law requires adoption of an ordi-
nance or other action on other than a Tuesday, such
as budget hearings, said dates are hereby declared to
be additional regular meetings dates upon which date
the action, ordinance, resolution or hearing may be
taken and/or adopted.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
