ORDINANCE NO. 2222
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, SETTING THE SALARY FOR THE MAYOR
AND PROVIDING THAT THE INCREASE IN THE
MAYOR'S SALARY SHALL BE RETROACTIVE TO
JANUARY 1, 1981.
WHEREAS, the City Council set the Mayor's salary at
one thousand ten dollars per month by Ordinance No. 2201, and
WHEREAS, after review and discussion the Council has
determined that the Mayor's salary should be increased by ten
percent, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor's monthly salary shall be
resulting in a monthly payment of one thousand one hundred -
eleven dollars and no cents.
Section 2. The Mayor's salary as hereby increased
shall be applicable to the pay period commencing January 1,
1981,
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
