ORDINANCE NO. 2231
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY
OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM RS-20
TO RS-12, CONSISTENT WITH PLANNING ADVISORY
BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 668.
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Board of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, held a public hearing to consider rezoning
a certain parcel of real property in the City of Edmonds from
RS-20 to RS-12 and after said hearing, forwarded its recommen-
dations to the City Council in Planning Advisory Board Resolution
No. 668, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
Washington, considered the Findings of Fact, Conclusions and
Recommendations of the Planning Advisory Board as contained in
Resolution No. 668, and the testimony of the City staff, and
WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, the City Council
determined as follows:
1. That the Findings of Fact contained in the
Planning Advisory Board Resolution No. 668 are correct and
are hereby adopted by this reference as if set forth in full.
2. There are no significant adverse environmental
impacts to the surrounding properties either within or without
the jurisdiction of the City of Edmonds which will be affected
by the proposed zoning classification of the property or the
proposed uses, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The official zoning map of the City of
Edmonds, Washington, is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification from RS-20 to RS-12 of certain real property,
all situate in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washing-
ton, and more particularly described on Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The Planning Department Director is hereby
instructed to effectuate the necessary amendments to the official
zoning map of the City of Edmonds, Washington, consistent with
this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
