ORDINANCE NO. 2260
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, VACATING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DEDICATED FOR
STREET PURPOSES; CITY FILE DESIGNATION
ST-1-81.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution, the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, Washington, held a public hearing on
August 4, 1981, to consider the proposed vacation of certain
property in the City of Edmonds, Washington, being a portion
of alley right-of-way located between 8th and 9th Avenues
North and between Sprague and Edmonds Streets, and more par-
ticularly described as set forth on Exhibits A and B attached
hereto and incorporated in full by this reference, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the findings of the City's
responsible official, the City Council finds that there will
be no significant adverse environmental impacts, and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said public hearing
the City Council found that said property dedicated for
street purposes should be vacated provided, however, that the
City retain a pedestrian easement over the subject property
and the City Council does hereby determine to vacate the same
as hereinafter set forth, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following.parcels of property, pre-
viously dedicated for street purposes are hereby vacated,
reserving, however, a pedestrian easement over the property.
Said parcels are located in the City of Edmonds, Snohomish
County, Washington, and legally described as set forth on
Exhibits A and B attached hereto and incorporated herein by
this reference as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this ordinance with the Snohomish
County Auditor.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.

WEST OF 9TH AVENUE NORTH
That portion of Sec, 24, T. 27 N., R.. 3 E. W. M., situate in
the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, described
as follows:
Beginning, at the southwest corner of Lot 13, Block 80,
the City of Edmonds; thence East along the south lines of
Lots 13 thru 15 to the southeast corner of Lot 15, said
Block; thence south 15 feet, more or less, to the northeast
corner of Lot 24, said Block; thence west along the north
lines of Lots 24 thru 26 to the northwest corner of Lot 26,
said Block; thence north 15 feet, more or less, to the point
of beginning.
