CITY OF EDMONDS CIVIC CENTER • EDMONDS, WASHINGTON 98020 • (206) 775-2525 CITY ATTORNEY Irene Varney City Clerk Edmonds Civic Edmonds, WA Dear Irene: Moran Center 98020 February 22, 1982 HARVE H. HARRISON MAYOR RE: Ordinance Adopting Public Works Specifications On February 2, 1982 the Council passed Ordinance No. 2264 adopting the 1981 edition of the APWA Standard Specifications. It was discovered at the last moment that this ordinance was not in correct form and therefore I have prepared a new version of this ordinance which does not change the purpose, subject matter or procedural elements of the ordinance passed on February 2. As you may remember, this ordinance was prepared by the Public Works Department and does not meet the necessary requirements of state law for adopting specifications such as these by reference. Please have the Mayor sign this ordinance and then post it as is your usual practice for any ordinance. Please also note that you must keep three copies of the Specification on file in your office at all times per Section 2 of this ordinance. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this ordinance. Very truly yours, OFFICE OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Mark A. Eames MAE/lac Enclosure cc: Jim Adams
