Ordinance 2269MAE/lac 1/22/82 ORDINANCE NO. 2269 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH- INGTON, AMENDING SECTION 20.105.020(B) TO CLARIFY AN AMBIGUITY REGARDING THE LENGTH OF THE APPEAL PERIOD FOR APPEALS FROM STAFF AND HEARING EXAMINER DECISIONS; AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 21.115.030 DEFINING THE TERM "WORKING DAY". WHEREAS, the Community Development Code currently prescribes the time for filing an appeal with the Planning Director as "within ten days" in Section 20.105.020(B), and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this section should be amended to clarify potential ambiguities in such language by referring to such appeal period in terms of "working days", and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary to define the term "working day" in order to remove any ques- tion regarding the length of time in which to file an appeal of a staff or Hearing Examiner decision, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.
