ORDINANCE NO. 2272
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
2234,PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON
SEPTEMBER 14, 1981; PROVIDING FOR PAY
ADJUSTMENTS FOR SPECIFIED CITY PERSONNEL;
AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2 and Exhibit "A" of Ordinance
No. 2234, passed by the City Councilion September 14, 1981,
are hereby amended as follows:
1. The Finance Director's salary shall be established as a
grade E-10 with a specified monthly salary of $2,852
effective as of October 1, 1981.
2. The City Engineer's salary grade shall be E-10,
effective as of October 1, 1981.
3. A new classification of Public Works Superintendent with
a grade of E-10 and a specified monthly salary of $2,716 is
established effective as of October 1, 1981.
4. The classifications of Water/Sewer Superintendent and
Street Superintendent are changed to Water/Sewer Supervisor
and Street Supervisor with grades of E-07 and specified
monthly salaries of $2,439, effective as of August 16, 1981.
The Building and Grounds Superintendent is changed to a
Building and Grounds Supervisor with a grade of E-07 and a
specified monthly salary of $2,439, effective as of November
1, 1981.
5. The Treatment Plant Superintendent and Equipment Rental
Superintendent classifications are changed to Treatment Plant
Supervisor and Equipment Rental Supervisor.
Section 2. Other than as set forth herein, the
provisions of Ordinance No. 2234 shall remain in full force
and effect.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
