ORDINANCE NO. 2307
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION SIX TO
SECTION 16.55.010A OF THE COMMUNITY DEVEL-
OPMENT CODE ALLOWING CERTAIN OFFICES IN THE
CW ZONE ABOVE THE GROUND FLOOR.
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Board held a public
hearing on February 24, 1982, at which time members of the
public were afforded an opportunity to speak, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that permitting
offices, excluding medical, dental and veterinary clinics,
above the ground floor in the CW zone would be consistent
with the purpose stated in Section 16.55.000 of the Community
Development Code to encourage pedestrian use on the water-
front and, furthermore, would be in the best interests of the
City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs with the City's
responsible official who has issued a declaration that this
action will not have a significant, adverse affect on the
environment, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new Subsection 6 is hereby added to
Section 16.55.010A of the Community Development Code as
follows:
6. Offices, above the ground floor, excluding
medical, dental and veterinary clinics.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
