ORDINANCE N0. 2362
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2343, PASSED BY
THE CITY COUNCIL ON JANUARY 4, 1983, TO
INCREASE THE HOURLY RATE FOR THE TEMPORARY
PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAM WORKERS TO $4.00 PER
HOUR.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to increase the
hourly rate paid to the temporary public service project workers
to $4.00 an hour to achieve equity with other temporary summer
workers, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 3(B) of Ordinance No. 2343 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
B. Compensation shall be at the rate of $4.00 an hour.
Persons employed shall not be eligible for MEBT, PERS,
medical, dental, or vision benefits available to full
time employees, and shall not be entitled to vacation,
sick leave pay or accrual thereof.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting as
provided by law.
