ORDINANCE NO. 2364
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, VACATING CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DEDICATED FOR
STREET PURPOSES BEING A PORTION OF THE
ALLEY BETWEEN SPRAGUE STREET AND DALEY
STREET AND SEVENTH AVENUE NORTH AND EIGHTH
AVENUE NORTH; CITY FILE DESIGNATION
ST-6-82, AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET
MAP.
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution, the City Council of
the City of Edmonds, Washington, held a public hearing on
October 5, 1982, to consider the proposed vacation of certain
property in the City of Edmonds, Washington, being a portion
of the alley between Sprague Street and Daley Street and
Seventh Avenue North and Eighth Avenue North, and more par-
ticularly described as set forth on Exhibits A and B attached
hereto and incorporated in full by this reference, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the findings of the City's
responsible official, the City Council finds that there will
be no significant adverse environmental impacts, and
WHEREAS, at the conclusion of said public hearing
the City Council found that said property dedicated for
street purposes should be vacated subject to the grant of
certain easements to the City by the abutting property
owners, and
WHEREAS, the abutting property owners have tendered
the grant of such easements as compensation for the area to
be vacated, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The subject property being a portion of
alley between Sprague Street and Daley Street, Seventh Avenue
and Eighth Avenue, as more particularly described in Exhibits
A and B attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as
if set forth in full, is hereby vacated.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
file a certified copy of this ordinance with the Snohomish
County Auditor.
Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
amend the Official Street Map to be consistent with this
ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.

the Plat of the City of Edmonds as per.the plat recorded on Page
39, Volume 2, of Plats, records of Snohomish County;
Thence easterly along the southerly margin of Lots 10 through
20, Block 84, of said plat, to the southeast corner of said Lot 20;
Thence southerly along the westerly margin of 8th Avenue North
to the northeast corner of Lot 21, Block 84, of said plat;
