ORDINANCE NO. _ 2369
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASH-
INGTON, ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION 8.64.030(23)
TO THE EDMONDS CITY CODE PROHIBITING PARKING
ON THE WEST SIDE OF 7TH AVENUE FROM WALNUT TO
PINE.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that, due to the
limited sight distance and potential traffic hazard as
analyzed by a traffic study conducted by the Edmonds City
Engineer, it is in the best interest of the public health and
safety to prohibit parking on a portion of 7th avenue between
Walnut and Pine streets, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new subsection 23 is hereby added to
Section 8.64.030 of the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
23. West side of 7th Avenue from a point 100 feet
south of Walnut Street to Pine Street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
