ORDINANCE NO. 2377
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTIONS 8.56.010,
8.56.020, 8.64.070 AND 8.64.080 OF THE
EDMONDS CITY CODE PROHIBITING COMMERCIAL
VEHICLES OF A CERTAIN WEIGHT FROM USING
CERTAIN STREETS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
section 1. Section 8.56.010 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
8.56.010 RESERVED
Section 2. Section 8.56.020 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
8.56.020 CERTAIN VEHICLES PROHIBITED FROM USE OF CERTAIN STREETS
When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall
operate any vehicle, which has a licensed gross weight exceeding
ten thousand pounds, at any time upon any of the streets or parts
of the streets described in Section 8.64.080 of this code, except
that such vehicles may be operated thereon for the purpose of
delivering or picking up materials or merchandise, and then only
by entering such street at the intersection nearest the
destination of the vehicle and proceeding thereon no further than
the nearest intersection thereafter.
Section 3. Section 8.64.070 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
8.64.070 RESERVED
Section 4. Section 8.64.080 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
8.64.080 SCHEDULE VIII - CERTAIN VEHICLES PROHIBITED FROM USING
CERTAIN STREETS
When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall
operate a vehicle except as provided under Section 8.56.020, upon
any of the following streets or parts of streets:

Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
