ORDINANCE NO. 2381
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 10.35.010(G) OF
THE EDMONDS CITY CODE RELATING TO THE HEARING
EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, after reviewing the nature and number of
cases heard by the Edmonds Hearing Examiner, the City Council
finds that it is appropriate to require a report from the
Hearing Examiner on an annual basis rather than on the
current semi-annual basis, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 10.35.010(G) of the Edmonds City
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
G. Annual Review. Every year in September, the Hearing
Examiner shall prepare and present an oral and
written report to the City Council outlining the
actions of the Hearing Examiner during the preceding
twelve month period. The purpose of such review is
to enable the City Council and the Hearing Examiner
to coordinate City land use policy and philosophy.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
