ORDINANCE NO. 2394
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING -
TON, AMENDING SECTION 8.64.030(23) OF THE
EDMONDS CITY CODE PROHIBITING PARKING ON A
PORTION OF SEVENTH AVENUE SOUTH.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer, acting as traffic engi-
neer, has conducted engineering and traffic investigation of
Seventh Avenue South from Walnut to Hemlock Street and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined from infor-
mation received from the staff and through public testimony
that parking should be prohibited on the East side of such
street, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.64.030(23) of the Edmonds City
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
23. East Side of 7th Avenue N. from Walnut Street
to Hemlock St.
Section 2. The Public Works Superintendent is hereby
directed to post signs in conspicuous locations consistent
with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
