ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHING -
TON, AMENDING SECTION 1.03.010 OF THE EDMONDS
CITY CODE RELATING TO THE POSTING OF ORDINANCES
AND NOTICES AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, notices are to be posted at the Edmonds
Public Library under the provisions of the City for the
posting of ordinances and notices, and
WHEREAS, the address of the library has been changed,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 1.03 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended by the repeal and reenactment of Section
1.03.010 relating to the posting of ordinances and notices to
read as follows:
1.03.010 POSTING OF ORDINANCES AND NOTICES
The City Council finds that there is no newspaper
printed and published within the City of Edmonds
and the City Council elects not to designate an
official newspaper. "Publication" of ordinances of
the City of Edmonds will be made by printing and
posting of the ordinance(s) in the following three
public places, all of which are hereby designated
as the official posting places for city notices:
(1) Public bulletin board in the Edmonds Civic
Center, 250 - 5th Avenue North, Edmonds,
Washington, 98020;
(2) Public bulletin board in the Edmonds Public
Library, 650 Main Street, Edmonds, Washington,
98020; and
(3) Public bulletin board, Edmonds branch of the
United States Post Office, 201 Main Street,
Edmonds, Washington, 98020.
Notices required to be posted by any provision of
this code shall be posted in the locations speci-
fied above, unless otherwise expressly provided.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force an
effect five (5) days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
