ORDINANCE NO. 2499
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 8.64 TO ADD A NEW SECTION
8.64.090 ESTABLISHING SCHEDULE IX, RELATING TO
HOURS OF CLOSURE OF CERTAIN STREETS AND FIXING
A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
Section 1. Chapter 8.64 of the Edmonds City Code is
hereby amended by the addition of a new Section 8.64.090
establishing a Schedule IX prohibiting the use of certain streets
during designated hours to read as follows:
8.64.090 Schedule IX - Street Closure During Designated
Hours.
When signs and/or baracades are erected giving notice
thereof and prohibiting entry thereto, no person shall
operate a motor vehicle or stop, stand or park a motor
vehicle for any length of time between the hours of 9:00
P.M. and 6:00 A.M. on the following listed streets within
the City:
1. Viewland Way, East from 12th Avenue North to the
end of such street.
This provision shall not apply to emergency vehicles,
construction vehicles with valid street use permits for any
street designated herein, and for access to abutting
property by the owner or the agent or invitee of said owner.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five (5) days after passage and publication by
posting as provided by law.
