Subject: BLD2021-0170 and BLD2021-0172 Intake Comments for 2 SFR's - 323 Daley St
In light of the upcoming building code changes, if other reviewing divisions approve the submittals for
intake, Engineering would also accept the submittal for intake to allow for vesting to the current
building codes, with the caveat that the applicant agrees to one of the following:
1) Applicant to submit revised civil construction plans within 2-weeks of City acceptance of the permit
application; or
2) Applicant provides acknowledgement that if civil construction plans are not revised within this
timeframe, the first round of comments produced by the Engineering Division will be limited to
those comments provided during the intake review.
If the City is inclined to move forward with intake, please ask the applicant to respond prior to the close
of business today that these options are acceptable. If we receive an affirmative response we could
then proceed with intake of the permit application and the project will vest accordingly.
