Background/History
Position #4, Landscape Architect, was left vacant in 2019 by the early retirement of Tom Walker. Due to
meeting restrictions during the pandemic, the position wasn't advertised until earlier this year. We
received one application for the open position -- Alex LeBouef Brooks.
Staff Recommendation
Interview candidate Alexa LeBouef Brooks for appointment to Position #4, Landscape Architect, of the
Architectural Design Board.
Narrative
Mayor Nelson has interviewed Ms. LeBouef Brooks and is recommending her appointment to the ADB.
Per city code 10.05.010:... The membership of said board shall be composed of... one landscaper
and/or landscape architect. Ms. LeBouef Brooks background as a Senior Horticulturist and Landscape
Design Assistant provide her with the necessary criteria to fill this position.
