CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Ken Jones called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Citizen -at -Large Distelhorst moved to approve the minutes from the specially called 8/10/2020
meeting. Council member Paine seconded the motion. The motion carried.
DISCUSS AND APPROVE CLAIMS SUMMARY REPORT.
Chair Jones introduced the claims summary report for the third quarter of 2020. Ms. Derrick spoke
briefly about the claims summary report, indicating that it was less in comparison to the same period of
time the prior year. This was due to less members on long-term care and less claims being submitted.
Council member Paine inquired about a larger than usual long-term care reimbursement. Ms. Derrick
explained it was for a member who recently was approved by the Board for long-term care charges to
be reimbursed and that there was "catch-up" for that member, but that going forward the monthly
charges would be less.
Council member Olson inquired about charges in the Other category and what they were for. Ms.
Derrick explained those were for services that didn't necessarily fall under a specific category, but that
were approved by the Board. The specific claims in question were related to counseling services and
eye contact solution. Council member Olson requested that Other category items be included in the
agenda packet going forward. Ms. Derrick confirmed we would do that.

Chair Jones made a motion to approve the claims summary report for the period of 7/1/2020 to
9/30/2020 in the amount of $27,071.87. Council member Paine seconded the motion. The motion
carried.
OTHER
Chair Jones discussed dates for the next meeting for the 4t" quarter.
Chair Jones adjourned the meeting at 10:10 AM.
