CALL TO ORDER:
Chair Ken Jones called the meeting to order at 10:18 AM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Council member Olson moved to approve the minutes from the regularly called 10/30/2020
meeting. Council member Paine seconded the motion. The motion carried.
DISCUSS AND APPROVE CLAIMS SUMMARY REPORT.
Chair Jones introduced the claims summary report for the fourth quarter of 2020. Ms. Derrick spoke
briefly about the claims summary report, indicating that it was less in comparison to the same period of
time the prior year. This was mainly due to less members on long-term care and less claims being
submitted.
Chair Jones mentioned the YTD expenses came in under budget and briefly discussed if we should
lower the budget for next year. Council member Olson deferred to City Attorney Cates if there was a
legal issue surrounding that. City Attorney Cates appreciated the opportunity to weigh in, but that it was
up to the board. Council member Paine mentioned it would be wise to keep the same budget since
expenses continue to rise each year.

Chair Jones made a motion to approve the claims summary report for the period of 10/1/2020 to
12/31/2020 in the amount of $21,781.28. Council member Paine seconded the motion. The
motion carried.
OTHER
Chair Jones discussed dates for the next meeting for the 1st quarter of 2021.
Chair Jones adjourned the meeting at 10:24 AM.
