Call to Order: Not officially in order— but continued to discuss items.

Administration:
• Approve/Amend Agenda: N/A
• Approve/Amend Minutes: N/A
• Financials: Ordered a bunch of TV shirts ($503), but we were down to 5 smalls and a few other
sizes. We should be good for some time in that area. Some news on the background checks, and
got a bill for $1,600. We are able to pay $500, and an additional $200. Carolyn will ask for closer
to $7,000 every year moving forward.
Continuing Business:
• 2019 Student Exchanee
o Orientation Meetings: All meetings in the Bracket Room at 6:30pm.

■ Overview of volunteers
• Assistant Language Teacher update: Have not received any applications — and we have the
deadline for April of 2020 on July 3rd. We are continuing to put it out there, but will not be filling
the job.
• Newsletter: On hold for another month — Commissioners please send community events you
think should be featured. We will send after the delegations. Laura will reach out to each
chaperone about their experiences and to Michelle on the Edmonds visit and her experience as
an ALT.
New Business:
• New Commissioner Application: We have a new application that is promising! We will move
forward with their application.
