1) 2019 student exchange
a) Delegation leaves tomorrow! Both chaperones are ready to lead the students around Japan.
b) We purchased Native American pottery for their mayor.
c) Itinerary for Hekinan visit — still need Commissioner support on 8/19 and 8/20.
i) Rae will be able to attend the 9tn
ii) Marlene can join on the 19' and help with the Welcome Dinner.
2) Assistant Language Teacher update
a) Overview of program. We missed the July 3rd deadline. We will not fill it for two years, but will
have the chance to place someone in two years.
New Business:

a) Katie has agreed to write a blurb. Michelle will write two.
