New Business:
1. Slate of Officers for 2022
o Co-chair: Katy Renz
o Co-chair: Rae Podrebarac
o Secretary: Laura Otto
o Karyn moved, lyoko seconded. Slate approved
2. 2022 Retreat
o Informal gathering in January. The City's plan for the new year may determine if we can
meet or not. We should go ahead and plan on meeting in person, and switch to virtual if
we should.
o January 24t" from 6 — 8 pm. Potluck style at Plaza Room (tentatively).
o We should have a new commissioner by then, her council confirmation is in January.
3. Potential Hekinan Gathering
o Targeting the second full weekend of April.
Continuing Business:
1. 2022 Exchange
o Covid situation is getting better for them. However, the situation for traveling and
required waiting period is a stumbling block. They want to visit with us and hoping they
can do a virtual meet -up.
o Consider a student only exchange if we could get enough students.
Announcements:
1. 2023 will be our next adult delegation year and something to consider planning. An adult
delegation would be a great test -run prior to jumping into a student delegation.
2. Consider outreach at local high schools about our program and opportunities in the future.
