Recognized Properties Not on Register — Chair Doyon discussed a draft proposal she had shared with the Commission regarding a second register for properties that might not have the integrity to be on the register or a potential alternative for heritage signage. Vice Chair Vogel was very supportive of the idea of a second honorary register to recognized historically significant and interesting properties that do not necessarily fit the strict criteria of the register. Commissioner Raetzloff was also very supportive. The Commission informally discussed various sites in the community that could be included on this list. There was a desire to add a page on the Historic Preservation Commission section of the website dedicated to this. Ms. Szafran indicated she would investigate the feasibility of adding a page for this. Vice Chair offered to come up with some sample content that might be included.
