It was discussed and decided that the pamphlet is mainly for historical purposes and information, and that the existing cemetery brochure is the appropriate item for advertising and marketing the cemetery. Also, the presentation of the pamphlet to the city council has been postponed until sometime in May, as the April 26th city council agenda is packed full. • Memorial Day 2022: Melissa updated the board on who/what have been finalized for the Memorial Day event, and who/what she is still waiting to hear from. Tracy and Jerry will work together and decide which one of them will be the master of ceremonies for the event. We have 150 chairs lined up to be delivered also for Memorial Day. Either Mike Barber, or someone he is recommending, will play the bagpipe. Cara will speak to the Youth Commission to see if some of them can help out at the event this year. Richard will help with directing cars where to park. Kerry will speak with Pastor Barry Crane to see if he will also do the invocation. It looks like the brass quintet will be playing for the event this year. It was decided that everyone and everything must be finalized by the 2nd week of May so that the event program can be printed. • Walk Back In Time 2022: The board discussed the people Betty suggested for the Walk Back In Time event this year. It was decided to represent these 5 and the board members will each decide for our May meeting who will represent who. The 5 people are: Carrie Jane Yost Astell, Ada Mae Johnson Iaeger Mothershead, Abraham Juhola, William Kingdon II (& family), and Capt. Gustav Nielsen (& Martha Sorensen Nielsen).
