Call to Order:
Tracy called the meeting to order at 4:09pm

Approval of Minutes: April 21, 2022 regular board meeting minutes unanimously
approved.
Chair Report:
• Tracy officially welcomed Richard Marin to the board.
• Jerry shared about his presentation of the "A Place of Tradition" booklet to the Edmonds
City Council meeting last Tuesday (May 17th). His presentation went very well and the
booklet was well received.
Staff/Administrative Report for the Cemetery Numbers:
• Cara and Tracy will be meeting next week to work on simplifying the city financial
reports for the cemetery. They will have this ready for our June board meeting.
• Below is the cemetery sales report for April 2022.

Old Business:
• Memorial Day 2022: Melissa updated the board on where everything stands for the
Memorial Day event. Jerry will be the Master of Ceremonies. The bagpipe player will be
Jan Begg. All wanting to help set up chairs will arrive at the cemetery by 7:30am on
Memorial Day. The board viewed the printout of the program. Kerry will notify Pastor
Barry and the North Sound Singers when to arrive before the event. Melissa discussed
the timeline for event. The board members will help after the event to fold up all the
chairs and store them inside. They will be picked up Tuesday, May 31st, by the Edmonds
School District. For publicity - Betty reported on her article for My Edmonds News for
Lynnwood, Edmonds, and Mountlake Terrace, and Cara reported that the city press
release will go out to all the usual media.
• Walk Back In Time 2022: The board will plan and discuss this at the June 16th board
meeting in detail.
• Pamphlet Distribution: The board members will go back to the places where the
pamphlets were distributed and make sure these places have more if needed. Also, the
pamphlets will be at the Memorial Day event.
New Business:
• Meetings going forward: In person meetings only will resume June 1st, 2022.

Next Meeting: Our next regular board meeting will be in person at 4pm, Thursday, June
16, 2022.
