Background/History
The Historic Preservation Commission currently has one open position for a "Professional". The position
was left open after a retirement in 2017. Previous advertisement of the position yielded no applicants.
In March of this year the position was advertised again and we received one application.
Staff Recommendation
Interview candidate Jeremy Mitchell for appointment to HPC Position #2 "Professional".
Narrative
Candidate Jeremy Mitchell applied for the open "Professional" position on the HPC. After review of his
application by Mayor Nelson and staff, Mayor Nelson interviewed Mr. Mitchell and is recommending his
appointment to the Historic Preservation Commission.
