Call to Order:
Melissa (standing in for Tracy) called the meeting to order at 4:00pm

Members Absent: Ashley Robinson and Tracy Little - excused absences.
Approval of Minutes: May 19, 2022 regular board meeting minutes unanimously approved.
Chair Report:
• Melissa reported that the Memorial Day event went very well and many attendees gave positive
comments.
• The main focus of this board meeting will be the Walk Back In Time event.
Staff/Administrative Report for the Cemetery Numbers:
• Cara and Tracy are still working on putting together the financial reports for the cemetery.
• Cara reported that Cliff has asked for approval for a specific headstone to be used on one of the gravesites.
A photo was supplied for the board to review. The motion was carried to approve the use of the
headstone, but it was not unanimous.

Old Business:
• Walk Back In Time 2022: The board members chose who they will represent: Kerry will represent
Carrie Jane Yost Astell, and also talk about George Martin Astell; Joan will represent Ada Mae Johnson
Iaeger Mothershead; Richard will represent Gustav Nielsen; and the other board members will decide who
they will represent after this meeting. Kerry will give the introduction to the attendees at the beginning of
the event. As for advertising the event to the public, Melissa will get a press release to Cara who will have
it go out to all the city news sources. It was also decided to have the cemetery history pamphlets available
then.
• Pamphlet Distribution: More discussion took place on appropriate places to make available the
pamphlets, and also to check out the places where the pamphlets have already been made available.
New Business:
New Board Member Applicant: Linda Russell has applied to be on the cemetery board. Her application
wasn't available for review at this meeting, so it was decided to discuss this at our next board meeting on
July 21St.
Announcements:
• Tracy will let us know if we are to have another meeting before the Walk Back in Time event.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:OOpm.
Next Meeting: Our next regular board meeting will be in person Thursday, July 21, 2022, right after the
Walk Back In Time event, at the cemetery.
