3. Financials: no change; Carolyn will provide balances next month and request annual $5K be
moved to ESCC Public account

1. Market booth recap
• Katy, Michelle and Carolyn were there. Light attendance but people enjoyed!
• Yuri requested chairs for origami folding at 8/27 market
2. Virtual meet -up
• Need to check with Michelle regarding testimonials from former students
• Also need to check with Michelle to see who she has contacted to participate
• We will do a dry run at the 8/22 meeting
• Rae will send out the updated draft to the rest of the commissioners for Q&A questions;
also so they can sign-up for tasks
• Greg will do some research on ice -breaker games
• Meet -up will be via regular zoom format, not webinar, so we can have break-out rooms
• Decided on 3 break-out rooms: 1) movies 2) food 3) music
Announcements:
Yuri attended an event at the Consul General's residence last week and spoke with one of his staff
members about creating a network of WA Sister Cities such as the one California -Japan have. Here is the
