Edmonds Memorial Cemetery Board Meeting Minutes
September 15, 2022

Call to Order:
Tracy called the meeting to order at 4:02pm.

Members Absent: Melissa Johnson and Ashley Robinson - excused absences.
Approval of Minutes: August 18, 2022 regular board meeting minutes unanimously approved.
Chair Report:
• Tracy reviewed the agenda.
• Tracy introduced our new board member, Linda (Lin) Russell.
Staff/Administrative Report for the cemetery numbers:
• The board members discussed the sales & burials report.
• Financial Reports - none
Sales Report - Sales and Services report as of August 31, 2022.

Old Business:
• Walk Back In Time Event: The board discussed the possible themes for next year's Walk Back In Time
Event.
Memorial Day Event: The board discussed working closely with the VFW for next year's event. And it
was announced that the Memorial Day Planning Spreadsheet has been updated.
Pamphlet: Joan has been in contact with Lisa at Edmonds Sno-Isle Regional Library about the library's
offer to bind the pamphlet. Joan reported on her findings and answered questions from the board
members. Joan will communicate with Lisa about the number of pamphlets they would like to bind.
New Business:
Advertising: The board discussed various ways to use our advertising budget to advertise for the
cemetery. The board will contact the Edmonds Theater and get information on advertising at the theater.
Other avenues were also discussed.
Board Member Cemetery Monument: This monument at the cemetery needs to be updated. The board
discussed this and will discuss this more at the next board meeting on October 20th, which will be held at
the cemetery.
Announcements:
Our next board meeting, October 20th, will be held at the cemetery with Cliff hosting the meeting. Tracy
will be gone for the October board meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:50pm.
Next Meeting: Our next regular board meeting will be in person Thursday, October 20, 2022, at the
Edmonds Cemetery.
