I. ROLL CALL & ABSENCES
Owen moved to call the meeting to order at 6:04 PM.
Owen read the land acknowledgment statement.

Owen moved to amend the agenda and change the date. Seconded by Finn. The motion passed
unanimously.
III. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES OF JUNE 8TH, 2022
Owen moved to approve the minutes. Seconded by Finn. The motion passed unanimously.

No members of the public present.

Casey is planning to bring pizza and beverages, and reminded the commissioners to be
ready to bring gardening gloves if they are not provided. A short tour of the park is
planned. Owen suggested a second retreat in August for returning members; all three
were up for it.
VI. SUMMER INSTAGRAM POSTS PLANNING
Owen inquired whether Instagram posts should be kept up over the summer. He
suggested assigning each member a week in which they make an Instagram post based
on a topic of their choice. The idea of creating posts in advance for events and
commemorative months was reiterated. Each of the returning members were assigned
to come up with topics for future posts. Possible topics included:
Food resources for students over the summer - Jul 8
Frances Anderson movie nights (Sam) - Jul 15
Mental health (Sydney) - Jul 22
Taste of Edmonds cleanup recruitment (Julie) - Jul 29
EYC recruitment (Mara) - Aug 6
Disability Pride Month (Finn & Owen) - Jul 1
