VIII. BRAINSTORM PROJECTS
One project Mara suggested is a way to ease the new commissioners into the EYC modus
operandi. Julie suggested coming early to write a welcome message on the whiteboard.
The commission agenda items for the first meeting with the new members included
introductions, icebreakers, review of Robert's Rules of Order, taking minutes, meeting
norms, and leadership roles. Mara suggested polling each member for their food
preferences as well as any allergies in order to get a better idea of what snacks to bring.
Casey will be bringing chips, cupcakes, Pocky, and sparkling water to the next meeting.
IX. FINAL COMMENTS
Diane suggested researching PFAS effects on the environment. Casey added that the
commissioners should start thinking about what projects and forums they would like to
work on this year.
