• If possible come at 3:30 PM
Need to discuss about what area we have lacking talk about and what we're missing/ brainstorm
research questions
Survey - make 10 people to do survey
We should start a conversation by asking "what experience do you have with ?"
For mental health/LGBTQ+ maybe start with a lesson? Maybe a fact?
Age range thinking: teens 13-19
Research topic discussion will resume at the next meeting
Advertise to people about survey
VI. CONTINUE SOCIAL MEDIA CODE OF CONDUCT REVIEW
Commissioners had 7 minutes to read the social media code of conduct.
Suggestions about social media code of conduct
If anyone is being derogatory we should block them
- Lucy: suggested to revise the part "follow back all followers" to not follow back everyone
/ we should only follow back counsel members, certain groups, schools, commissioners,
edmonds organizations, people who support Youth Commission or businesses we work
together with.
- Sam: suggested to get rid of the comment sections
- Mara: suggested to not like negative comments / just ignore them
If find any useful youth opportunities in Edmonds, send through DM so Mara can post about
Discussed if we should keep following passed counselor members -yes
Conclusion: The commission decided to like posts by Edmonds' government only, no political
posts, not follow back everyone, and keep following past counselor members.
VII. EYC VIDEO DISCUSSION
Use instagram reels
Human faces would help to bring in people, more interest
Infographic, maybe something informational?
VIII. FINAL COMMENT
During final comment we assigned each commissioners a research question
- Diversity: Eeman and Naomi
- Domestic violence: Lucy C and Joelle
- Youth Opportunity: Joanna and Sophie
- LGBTQ+: Charlie
- Environment issues: Mara and Julie

Note from Casey: Let at least 10 people take the survey!
