a. Public hearing on proposed updates to land use procedures contained in the Edmonds Community
Development Code (ECDC) (Chapters 20.01 through 20.08, excluding 20.05) which include; staff
reassuming the public notice requirements for project applications; reorganizing and clarifying portions
of text; and updating the permit type matrix in ECDC 20.01.003.A. Two options are being considered
by the Planning Board; one option would retain the code changes approved by the City Council in 2009
which removed the Council from most appeals proceedings, while the second option would affirm the
interim zoning ordinance approved by the City Council in 2010 which reinstated the Council's role in
appeals. (File No. AMD20100013).
b_ Public hearing on proposed amendments to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 18.05
and 20.50 clarifying definitions and processes for the regulation of wireless telecommunication facilities.
