March 16, 2023
Call to Order:
Melissa called the meeting to order at 4:01pm.

Approval of Minutes: February 9, 2023 regular board meeting minutes unanimously approved.
Chair Report:
Melissa reviewed the agenda.
Staff/Administrative Report for the cemetery numbers:
• The board members discussed the sales & burials report.
Financial Reports - none

Old Business:
Advertising: The board continued discussing advertising for the cemetery. Richard gave a visual
presentation to the board of various ideas for the cemetery ads. The board will now prepare an
advertising proposal to present to the city.
Memorial Day Event Planning: The board continued going over the plans for the Memorial Day event,
using the planning spreadsheet. The theme this year will be the Purple Heart medal. We will continue the
planning at the April board meeting. Various board members will continue contacting and working with
individuals and groups during this next month to help with the event.

Announcements:
• Lin Russell announced that she won't be at the April 2023 board meeting.

Next Meeting: Our next regular board meeting will be in person Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Frances
Anderson Center.
