The mission of the Edmonds Historic Preservation Commission is to encourage the owners of historically
significant structures to voluntarily place their property on the Edmonds Register of Historic Places. By doing so,
these properties become eligible for benefits. The commission will also promote the formation of historic districts
and overlays with regard to clusters of historic properties or districts of historical significance.
