Background/History
Per the Interlocal Agreement between the Edmonds Public Facilities District (PFD) and the City of
Edmonds, approval by the Edmonds City Council is required for new appointments to the PFD Board,
and/or renewals of PFD Board terms. This Special Meeting is Council's opportunity to interview the
candidate.
Staff Recommendation
The current members of the PFD Board of Directors respectfully request that the Edmonds City Council
approve PFD Board Candidate Wayne Grotheer for appointment to the PFD Board.

The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce would like to recommend Wayne Grotheer as a candidate for the
Edmonds Public Facilities District (EPFD) Board of Directors. Mr. Grotheer's brings executive level
experience to this position that includes large capitol projects and leadership roles that will benefit the
District. Additionally, Mr Grotheer brings a strong background in community work, including supporting
the Edmonds Center for the Arts as a volunteer since 2006.Overall, his professional and community
experience will be vital for the ECA during an exciting time of growth and transition. The ECA is one of
Edmonds' strongest assets, and we believe Mr. Grotheer will be a great addition to the board.
